FUNERAL HOME FACILITIES

The Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home is operated within the confines of our perpetually maintained Shrine of Remembrance (Evergreen Park) Mausoleum. The public facilities include our “America the Beautiful” Chapel of Roses which comfortably seats 180 people (without overflow seating) in a cathedral-like setting, the Gate of Heaven Chapel (which can be used for evening prayer services and small funerals) and three staterooms for visitation.

It is of the utmost importance to us that your loved one is always in our direct care when you call on us. For this reason, it is our full-time funeral directors that will respond at the time of death to transport your loved one to our funeral home and will provide all necessary professional services (embalming, dressing, cosmetology, etc.) through our on-site preparation facilities. Many funeral homes in El Paso County provide these services through an off-site warehouse facility in an industrial park rather than at the funeral home in which you made the necessary arrangements (while at the same time charging substantially more for their services, see Competitive Pricing Matrix).
