March 16, 1952 – February 11, 2020

Luke 15:24  ‘For this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’  And they began to celebrate.

Inocente, affectionately known as “Trinito” by his maternal grandmother whom he adored and lovingly known as “Larry” by family and friends, was a believer in and follower of the Lord Jesus.  Larry would want us to “celebrate” for he is rejoicing in the presence of his Savior, all thanks be to Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, and Larry has certainly heard, “well done, good and faithful servant.”

Larry was born in Fort Worth, TX and was the eldest of six children.  He graduated from Kaiserslautern High School in Germany.  He honorably served his country in the United States Army, and was stationed in Munich, Germany.  He obtained an MBA from the University of Miami – Coral Gables, FL.  He was a retired Florida Public School Educator.  His passions included studying/meditating on the Word of God; he loved to travel – great fondness for the beauty of the Grand Canyon; he enjoyed multiple trips to Switzerland, Austria and Costa Rica; and he relaxed by strumming his various guitars.  In 2015 He relocated to Colorado Springs to be near his mother, Josephine, who preceded him in death.

If there is one thing Larry could share with you it would be the story of the prodigal son found in the Holy Bible, the book of Luke, Chapter 15.  Please make time to read and ponder, asking the Holy Spirit to open your heart and mind to the truth of the Scriptures.  And may your relationship with the Creator of heaven and earth, the Redeemer and the Holy Spirit our comforter grow, and may your life be transformed by the Lord God Almighty’s amazing grace.  Larry’s life certainly was ~ to God be all the glory.

Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter:  Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

Forever in our hearts ~ beloved brother and son

A burial service, with Military Honors, will be held at 10:15 a.m. at staging area “C” on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

Memorial donations in Larry’s name may be made to the Springs Rescue Mission, 5 W Las Vegas Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.

  8. Larry was a true Prodigal son. He lived a fun life but in the end he came to realize and taught me that true happiness only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. Larry taught me how to get saved, how I must repent, and have faith and accept the teachings of our Lord. He was not afraid to go, he knew Jesus would be waiting for him. Nevertheless it pains me to have him gone, and I love him so much. I do take comfort in knowing I will see him again, and we won’t have these old sick bodies because God said so. Rest In Peace my beautiful brother.

  9. Sending love and hugs to the Lariosa Family . Very handsome man as all of them are!! Rest In Peace. Thinking of my girl June.. she so loves all her brothers..?

  10. Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. I will truly miss cousin Larry’s communication thru texts on birthday and holidays. But he is at peace now no more pain and in the arms of Jesus what a glorious celebration with Loved Ones????

  11. Dear family,
I love you. And I pray for you. May God bless you. Looking back on my path as a musician, I remember when my uncle Larry got me my first guitar. I still have it. I always appreciated it. He also gave me another guitar, a beautiful purple Fender. Those gifts meant so much to me as a beginner. I’ll never forget. My heart is with my uncle Larry.
