Lawrence Lee

Bucky (Lawrence Harvey) Lee Jr, passed away on March 5, 2019. He grew up in Mattawamkeag, Maine until moving to Aurora, Colorado in 2008. He became a resident of Colorado Springs in 2017 once he accepted a position at Camping World.

Bucky was a devoted husband, father and friend.  Bucky loved to fish, hunt as well as spending time with his family and friends.  His favorite place in Colorado to be was in Estes Park, Colorado. He enjoyed the mountains and loved to see wildlife wherever he went.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Lee; his children: Marissa Darnell, and Alex Andrews; his siblings: Cindy Haas, and John Lee; and his grandchild, Chase Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence Lee Sr., and Eva Craig Lee.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 14, 2019 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A reception will be held following the services at the Lee family home.

He will be sorely missed.

  7. Im so sorry to hear of Larrys passing. Larry rode on the Mattawamkeag school bus with us for years when we were growing up. Larry graduated with my sister. I can still see him wearing his MA Lynx football jersey as if it were yesterday. He was a very nice person. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

  17. Larry was a good friend in High School…I remember how smart he was! He would hardly study and still ace a test. He was a lot of fun to hang out with…it was good to see him this past summer. You left your mark on this world, Bucky.

  20. My heart hurt so bad when i heard about Bucky he grew up on the river road with my kids he was at my house a lot he was a wonderful person very polite loveable and could he ever tell a story!! Im so glad i got a hug from him when he was back last year! I will hold on tight to it forever! R.I.P.dear Bucky love you always!
