This Obituary Has 2 Condolences

  1. I feel sad and helpless as a old friend and former First Sergeant of Robert during his duty in C Troop, 1st Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. He was a first class soldier who commanded the respect of all the people he served with. Rest in peace Cowboy. Top Miller

  2. I was the C Troop commander when Cowboy burst on the scene. He was clearly destined to be a senior NCO and I appointed him acting sergeant and lead scout because of his superior abilities even as a young man recently enlisted. Almost 20 years later we crossed paths again in Germany and I was a Colonel and Cowboy was a First Sergeant. We had a brief but grand reunion. His passing was just brought to my attention and I regret I did not know sooner. My condolences to his family… there was no finer Cavalry Scout.
