I worked with Terry at ARINC for several years and would see him yearly since then at a friend’s Kentucky Derby party, where we would share a few beers and tell each other lies, er, stories for hours on end. Terry was also a valued member of the Nerd Herd trivia team at Old Chicago for the past year. We are really going to miss his bonhomie, generosity, and wit. A truly unique individual. A real Renaissance man. Terry, we loved you.

  10. Terry,

It nearly broke my heart in two hearing of your recent passing. You’re presence at our weekly Nerd Herd ‘meetings’ every Tuesday, will be greatly missed, as will your sporadic appearances at Jack Quinn’s on Sundays for some Irish Trad. music.

I so enjoyed being able to re-connect with you after so many years since we worked at ARINC at the same time, if not “together”.

I hope you are in a better place brother, you will be missed immensely.

  11. My deepest condolences to the Phillips family. So much loss in the last few years. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  12. So sad to learn about Terry. He and Jeannie were both loving people. Knew them many years through our Zoo Docent work. Sending warmest thoughts to the family.
