Twila Alvena Keller, born October 23, 1928, died May 10, 2019.  Twila was born in Colorado Springs, the 6th of 12 children born to Jake and Violet Kunau.  She was raised in Kendrick, Colorado. 

On August 6, 1949 she married Kennith Lee Colburn. They had 4 children, Lynne, Leon, Judy and Harold. Kennith died in 1959.  In December of 1970 she married Henry Keller. They resided in Colorado Springs. She became a licensed massage therapist and was in private practice for over 40 years. Henry died in 1995 after almost 25 years of marriage.

In 2008 Twila moved to La Junta to be near her daughter.  Over the next 10 years she came to love and enjoy her home there. She was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She died in Pueblo after complications sustained by a fall.

Twila was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers and five sisters.  She is survived by one brother, Ronald Kunau of Loveland, Colorado and one sister, Leta Stout of Loveland, Colorado; her children, Lynne (Jimmy) Schwab of La Junta, Colorado, Leon (Sharon) Colburn of Hillsboro, Oregon, Judy (Bill) Wilson of Pueblo, Colorado, and Harold (Kathy) Colburn of Amarillo, Texas. She had 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. with funeral services at 10.00 A.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Shine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs. She will be buried at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs. A reception will follow at Olympian Plaza Reception Center.
