Wanda Margaret Keel
August 22, 1937 – August 9, 2018
Wanda Keel, age 80, passed quietly to Heaven at home with family and puppies at her side.
She was an educator with School District 11 for 20-plus years. She graduated from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, South Dakota.
She is survived by her son, Blaine; and daughter, Kathy; her sister, Vivian Meyer; and nieces: Jenny Preston, Jodi Meyer, Jolene Libling, and Doreen Webb.
A private memorial will be held at Wanda’s request. Donations in Wanda’s memory may be made to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, 4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906, www.cmzoo.org.

24 Aug 2018Dear Blaine and Kathy, I was saddened to read of Amanda’s death. Please know that my thoughts are with you both. I only wish I had the opportunity to have visited Wanda one last time. I always enjoyed spending time with your mother and will remember her love for her beloved dog(s). She very much loved you and was pleased with Kathy’s chosen profession. She loved being involved in your lives and having you close to her. My condolences for your lose. She is now United with her loved ones.
