Agueda “Agit” Lourdes Damian Duenas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, passed peacefully at home and went to meet our Lord on Thursday, April 3, 2014.

Agit was born on February 5, 1934, to the late Candido Bodestin and Francisca Perez Damian in Hagatña, Guam, and was the oldest of 11 children. During high school, she met Jesus Ramirez Duenas, who eventually became the love of her life. They were married on November 22, 1956.

Agit had many interests and loved to bake, crochet, listen to Chamorro music, watch soap operas and TV game shows, and travel around the world. She often went to the mountains to get “ice cream”, and could be seen in front of the “White Orchid” or eating shrimp cocktails at Bronco Billy’s.
