REACHING OUT TO ALL MEDICAID RECIPIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Are you currently receiving Medicaid Benefits?
Do you have a loved one whose health is declining and is receiving Medicaid?
Most people do not know that Medicaid benefits include a final expenses benefit of up to $1,500.00.* This benefit can be serviced through our funeral homes. Shrine of Remembrance has been serving the community for over 50 years with cremation services through our on-premises, state-of-the-art cremation facilities. We are uniquely qualified to assist Medicaid families (and veterans who are Medicaid recipients) with all their wishes including the final placement of cremated remains, optional when requested. This will provide closure for the family.
Our compassionate services, including meaningful benefits provided to our veterans and their families, are legendary throughout the Pikes Peak Region. The Shrine of Remembrance Veterans Honor Court has been recognized by two former U.S. Presidents, the Colorado State Legislature, the Colorado Springs City Council, Peterson Air Force Base, and the United States Air Force Academy.
When selecting simple cremation arrangements only, Shrine of Remembrance can provide families of Medicaid recipients with the comfort of knowing that there will be no out-of-pocket expenses whatsoever for those who have exhausted their assets and financial resources.
For Medicaid veterans we offer free inurnment of cremated remains in our Gate of Heaven community columbarium, which is exclusively for veterans. To provide peace of mind and closure for families of Medicaid recipients, complimentary scattering of cremated remains is available in our dedicated, perpetually maintained and truly inspirational, Rock of Ages and “America the Beautiful” scattering gardens. For families who select our simple cremation services and request the use of our funeral chapels, or elect to have a service at their church with our participation, in celebration of our 50th Anniversary, at no charge, if requested, we will provide a beautiful reception for up to 100 family members and guests (a $1,641.88 value) through our exclusive Olympian Plaza Reception & Event Center (975 S. Union Blvd.).
In summary, a family who has a loved one who passes away and was receiving Medicaid benefits and has no assets can receive cremation through Shrine of Remembrance free of charge. In addition, the family of the deceased can request a memorial service (which can be held through our “America the Beautiful” Chapel), a reception, and scattering of cremated remains for only $570 out-of-pocket. No other cremation provider will give you $4056.88 worth of valuable services for so little money, amounting to thousands of dollars in savings to the family.
Our experienced staff will prepare the necessary paperwork for the Department of Human Services, Social Security, Veterans Affairs (including military honors), and/or application for burial of cremated remains at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. Please share this with your friends. They will be glad you did.
– Respectfully, Costas Rombocos, C.E.O.
*DHS, The Department of Human Services, recently announced that, effective March 1, 2020, depending on the deceased’s assets at the time of death, they may receive up to $1500 in benefits to be paid directly to the funeral home. Please ask us for more details. Why be compromised seeking a cheap cremation through inadequate providers when you can have the best? When you compare, there is no comparison.
