Alex Martinez Sarmiento – July 5, 2025

Alex Martinez Sarmiento was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Colorado Springs. He was the beloved son of Maria Sarmiento and Alejandro Martinez, and the fourth oldest among six siblings. Known for his strength, kindness, and protective nature, Alex was admired for standing firmly by his beliefs and for his ability to grow into the man he aspired to be.

Alex cherished his time with his daughter, Alejandra Martinez, relishing their one-on-one adventures together. His radiant smile had the power to brighten any room. Recently, Alex was joyfully reunited with his family, including his siblings: Alfonso, Saray, Erlinda, and Omar, and his cherished nieces and nephews: Marina, Aristeo, Juju, Avi, Aleiah, Ana, Bella, and Santi. He considered his circle of close friends to be family from childhood.

He was a generous and equitable soul, always ready to help others and ensure everyone felt valued and included. Alex’s creativity and talent shone brightly, especially in his unique sense of style, where he would customize his own clothes before he could afford designer.

Alex’s spirit lives on, joining his little sister, Aidaly, in heaven, where they both watch over their family. We hold onto the hope of reuniting in a more peaceful place. We are grateful that Alex was part of our lives on earth. His legacy endures. Long live Alex Martinez Sarmiento.

My little Brother The moment you left me, my heart was torn in two. One part filled with memories, the other half died with you. I often stay awake at night when everything is silent, walking down memory lane with tears in my eyes. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day. But missing you is a pain that never to goes away. I keep you safe inside my heart, and there you’ll always be. Life moves on without you, but my life will never be the same. My vision is blurry My dreams are shattered my Heart is broken.
