Angeline G. Walker, age 95 and a resident of Colorado Springs for 36 years, passed away on April 30, 2012 after a 12-year battle with dementia. She is finally at peace and in a better place.

Angeline was born on August 24, 1916 in Sestri, Italy to Federico and Teresa (Fabbio) Guazzo. She married Robert Clinton Walker on June 20, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and became a loving homemaker and a devoted mother. She loved her family, painting, and golf, and was an avid member of The Italian American Club.

She is survived by her son, Robert F. (wife, Janet R.) Walker; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Walker; and her daughter, Linda T. Walker.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Private entombment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Alcove of Devotion.
