Arlene Lucille Janssen (Kaufmann), 83, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she had been in rehabilitation following a stroke.
Arlene was born October 2, 1932 in Buckley, Illinois. She lived and worked in the Buckley/Paxton area until her retirement. She then moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1997 to live with her daughter, Karen Fletcher (Janssen), son-in-law, John Fletcher, and granddaughters: Calissa and Kaitlyn. She then moved with the family to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2001.
Surviving is the Fletcher family as well as brother, Leroy Kaufmann of Spring, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Buckley, Illinois at a date to be determined.
