Beatrice H. Madison, 89, passed away on February 6, 2026. Ms. Madison was born on September 24, 1936, in Queens, New York. She resided at Medallion Retirement Community at the time of her death, but she formerly resided in the Security and Fountain communities.
Ms. Madison was an avid tennis player and active in many civic activities. She was an active member of the NAACP in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Fresno, California. She was employed by Equitable Insurance as a technical/administrative assistant her entire career.
Ms. Madison will be cremated and inurned in the Ethel Merman Family Room and Columbarium within the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, located at 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
Ms. Madison wants to thank all her neighbors in Security, personnel in PACE, Medallion, and Abode Hospice for their support during her struggles with Alzheimer’s.
