Beverley was born on October 8, 1922 to James Gardner and Mary Adelaide (Starrett) Gardner. She was a Colorado Springs native and lived her entire life in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She passed away peacefully on January 6, 2012.
During her early years, Beverley attended North Jr. High School and Colorado Springs High, now known as Palmer High School.
Beverley was married to F. William “Bill” Fromm before Bill was deployed during World War II. In 1946, she gave birth to their daughter, Anne Katherine.
Beverley is survived by her five grandchildren (Mona, Mercy, Grace, George, and Charlie) and seven great-grandchildren (Johnathan, Beverley, Logan, Liberty, Bianka, Anne, and Preston), her nieces (Susan Helmich and Jeane Huett), grand-nephews (Joshua, Richard and Jason), and grand-nieces (Whitney and Amy).
Throughout her adult life, Beverley enjoyed spending time with her ever-growing family and attending bridge club with her close friends.
Beverley’s professional career spanned many years when she obtained her Real Estate Broker’s License and was involved in real estate sales, property management and property investments.
It is agreed by all, that Boogee was the “heart” of the family and the person to whom her family turned for guidance and support. She will be truly missed, and her legacy will live on in her family forever.
The service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
A reception will immediately follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
