Beverly J. Jahn

Beverly J. Jahn, age 91, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1953 and formerly of Pueblo, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at her home at the Life Care Center of Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Beverly Jean Jahn was born on September 21, 1927, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Lowell and Thelma (Small) Felible. She was a 1945 graduate of Pueblo Centennial High School and attended Pueblo Junior College. She married Fred Jahn on July 30, 1949, at St. Leander’s Catholic Church in Pueblo.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and the Co-Coordinator for the Senior Classics. She was a member of the Rampart Rangers and a Girl Scout leader. She and Fred enjoyed traveling to all fifty states, Canada and Mexico, primarily in a series of RVs.

She is survived by her son: Gregory Fred (Cindy) Jahn of Colorado Springs; three daughters:  Leslie (Pat) Markle of Hugo, Colorado; Linda (Jim) Billings of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Lori (Gary) Harris of Dolores, Colorado and a sister: Suzanne Frampton of Claremont, California.

Bev has twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jahn.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm followed by a Rosary on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 am on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. After burial rites, the family will have a luncheon reception at the Parish Hall of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Memorials may be made to the Corpus Christi Grade School or to St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
