Blaise Anne Bailey, 53, passed away January 20, 2012 after a short illness. She was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, having moved here with her parents at three years of age.
Blaise was born to Les and Ann Donnelly Bailey December 21, 1958 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was an Information Systems Analyst with Agilent Technologies. Blaise had been employed by Hewlett Packard Company and Agilent for over 33 years. She was a proud four year cancer survivor.
Preceding her in death in 2003 was her mother Ann Bailey. Blaise is survived by her husband John Patterson, stepson Ryan Patterson, brother Ken Bailey (Debbie), sister Jeanne Bailey (Keith Baxter), father and stepmother Les and Mary Lou Bailey, sister-in-law Dorian Bailey, her three “favorite” nieces and circus buddies; Tyler and Grace Woodman, and Alexis Bailey, and her beloved pets Cash and Scat. Blaise will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by her many relatives, friends and co-workers from Agilent.
Her favorite times were any time spent with her nieces whom she dearly loved and to whom she was their “Aunt B.”
A celebration of Blaise’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 28th at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. In lieu of flowers, non-perishable food items for the Care and Share Food Bank may be brought to the service, or a donation be made in Blaise’s name to Christmas Unlimited, 2204 E Boulder St #C, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
There will be a reception immediately following the service at the Masonic Center, 1150 Panorama Drive in Colorado Springs.
