Charles E. Reser, age 87, died peacefully at home with his family on August 6, 2017.
Chuck was born on August 25, 1929 in Hugoton, Kansas to Zoe and Argus Reser. He was a lifelong educator, teaching at North Junior and Wasson High Schools in Colorado Springs. He retired as School District 11’s science supervisor.
During his retirement, he enjoyed working for Budget Car Rental. Chuck was a member of East United Methodist Church for over 45 years. He enjoyed reading, carpentry, science, and teasing people.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon; two daughters, Mindy and Ruth; one son, John; one grandson, Nicholas; and two brothers, Bob and Neil. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard; his sister, June; and his brother, Carl.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at East United Methodist Church, 1505 East Monument Street, Colorado Springs. Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
