Charles L. Green
Charles L. Green, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord on August 19, 2013. He was born on July 26, 1948 to Dennis and Frances (Canterbury) Green in Denver, Colorado.
Charles is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. (McQuilliams) Green of 44 years, his son Curtus (Kris) Green, and daughter Crystal (Jerry) Chase. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Stephanie, Casey, Shelby, Marcus, as well as a sister Heidie (Tom) Bowen.
Charles worked for the CSPD for 19 years and the El Paso County Sheriff’s office for 12 years. Charles was a Master Mason at the Masonic Temple Tejon 104. He taught at Remington College and he loved to sing with America the Beautiful Barbershop Choir. He enjoyed camping, fishing and being with his family.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
