Christine (Gotseff) Mercer died peacefully on September 6th with her nephew Peter by her side.
Christine was born to John and Mary Gotseff in the coal camp of Mt. Harris in Routt County, Colorado in 1924. She was raised in Tioga and graduated from Walsenburg High School (CO). Christine worked as a bookkeeper most of her life, living and working in Colorado, Texas and Wyoming.
She is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Dimitir, formerly of Colorado Springs, and three other siblings – John, George, and Tommy. She is survived by her sister, Marybell.
