Clare S. Smith
August 18, 1930 – September 14, 2018
Clare S. Smith, a vibrant loving mother, grandmother and friend, died on Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Smith.
Clare had a zest for life that was unsurpassed by most and an inspiration to every life she touched. Although there will be a piece of our hearts missing with the loss of Clare, our cherished memories of her will help to fill that empty space.
Clare is survived by her children: Victoria, Bradford and Maria; her two grandsons: Cody and Jackson; the Severini clan and many cherished friends. At Clare’s request there will be no memorial services.

24 Sep 2018I will always remember the twinkle in Clare’s eyes…she loved a good laugh! Her devotion to the local Susan G Komen family was inspirational…she will be missed. I know she and Mitzi are enjoying their reunion. My thoughts and prayers go out to Maria.

24 Sep 2018Clare was my fellow Italian book club member. She reminded me so much of my dear Italian aunt. During the time she was a member of our book club, she was witty, smart, and always seemed interested in the subject we were discussing. I will miss her lovely presence.
