Clinton Duane Carter, age 78, passed away December 26, 2011. He was a pressman in the printing industry and was a resident of Colorado Springs for 19 years. He was previously employed at Peerless Tyre and Front Range Muffler.
Clinton was born on December 4, 1933 to Hugh and Elsie (Dachtler) Carter in Elgin, North Dakota. He married Gloria Jenkins on December 31, 1952 in Mandan, North Dakota.
He was the backbone of the family. He was an avid Broncos fan who loved country music. He was affectionately known as mister fix-it and particularly enjoyed working around his home. Clinton could fix anything.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children: Julie (husband John) Edmisson, Lori (husband Steve) Anvik, and Lon (wife Julie) Carter; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family memorial service will be held.
