Daniel Leonard Plynn
August 8, 1932 – October 9, 2015
Daniel Leonard Plynn, age 83, passed away on October 9, 2015. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 44 years and served in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He was in ground transportation for the United States Air Force, and a bus driver for city transit.
Daniel was born on August 8, 1932 to Leonard and Margaret (Johnson) Plynn. On October 2, 1969 he married Sally Harrington in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Dan was fond of mountain hiking, trekking Pikes Peak 8 times and even Mount Fuji in Japan. He also enjoyed reading, and had an appreciation for old time movies. He was a member of Austin Bluffs Evangelical Free Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sally, and his brother, Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:15 pm Thursday, October 15, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Austin Bluffs Evangelical Free Church, 3435 Maizeland Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
