Dan Henry, aged 73, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021.  He was a resident of Colorado Springs, CO for 35 years.  He retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service and then a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor career.

   Dan was born on November 26, 1947, to Walter H. Henry and Adeline D. Henry (nee Whitworth) in Milwaukee, WI.  He married the love of his life, Christine “Chris” May Henry (nee Bell) in Milwaukee, WI on December 23, 1967.

   He grew up in Milwaukee, WI and attended Messmer Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business of Administration from Louisiana Tech University and Master of Science in Systems Management from University of Southern California.  

   He is survived by his loving wife, Chris; his children: Tyson Scot Henry married to Vania Correne (nee List), Dawn Christine Cooper (nee Henry), and Misty Anne Hjelmstad (nee Henry) married to Jeffrey Allan Hjelmstad; his siblings: Della Maria Rogers (nee Henry) and half-brother Walter Charles Henry; as well as his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

   A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.  A reception will be held immediately following.
