Donovan Gerald Henson
Donovan Henson, a Colorado Springs resident for 52 years, passed away September 24, 2012 in Loveland, Colorado at the age of 92.
Donovan was born on December 9, 1919 in Baker, Oregon to J.E. and Rosa (Harris) Henson. He married Edith Johnson on April 12, 1943 in North Carolina. He was an Electronics Technician for Hewlett Packard and a 3 year Veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a Commander of the VFW for Middle Park. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife; two sons: Tim and Kevan Henson; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Sharon Joyce and Connie Dawson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Columbarium of Roses.
