Doris June McKellip went into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father unexpectedly on July 9, 2020 in Castle Rock, Colorado.  She was a resident of Colorado Springs for most of her life, but also lived in Telluride, Colorado.

Doris was born on March 12, 1946 to Lawrence C. McKellip and Cecile M. (Foster) McKellip in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Doris always held on to her faith, no matter what life threw at her, she loved Jesus with all of her heart. She had a very kind heart and would give people anything they wanted if she could.

She is survived by her brother; Lester McKellip, sisters; Shirley Deisher, Alice Calkins, Joyce Robblee and Patricia Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as great and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lawrence & Cecile McKellip, brothers; David and Robert, sisters; Annabelle, Clara, Betty and Rosalee.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on July 17, 2020 at Shrine of Remembrance located at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery will also be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 immediately following the funeral service.
