Dorothy Ellis Stricklin was born October 29, 1927 in Alamosa, Colorado. She graduated from Ft. Collins High School in 1945. Dorothy worked at Mountain Bell Telephone for two years before marrying Robert Stricklin in 1947. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1963. After many years as a homemaker, she went to work at Weberg Furniture as a Credit Manager for 20 years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by Robert. She is survived by children Mike (wife Linda) Stricklin, Dan (wife Sandy) Stricklin, Kristy (husband Dave) Carter, and Katy (husband Dave) Ahrens; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
Graveside services for Robert and Dorothy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins.
