Dwayne Kenneth Peters, 89, a Colorado Springs resident for 46 years, passed away on October 11, 2016. He retired as a Master Sergeant (E-8) from the Army and was a building inspector for Regional Building, Colorado Springs.
Dwayne is survived by his loving wife, Sonja of 65 years; his brothers: Robert (Linda) Peters of Adrian, Minnesota; Richard (Bonni) Peters of Red Wing, Minnesota; Curtis (Blanche) Peters of Winona, Minnesota; Dennis (Judy) Peters of Slayton, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, Herman and Gertrude (Loger) Peters; and five brothers: Melvin, Harold, Delmar, Kenneth and LeRoy Peters.
A funeral service with be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
