Elaine died peacefully at home on August 29, 2025, at the age of 94 and rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior. She was born July 14, 1931, in Cleveland Ohio to John and Emma (Koenig) Neuzil.
One of four children, she was a bright and energetic woman whose long life encompassed many careers and interest including religious community, teaching, school administration, right to life counseling, and international travel.
In her retirement years, Elaine was active in two Catholic parishes: Holy Apostles and St. Patrick’s, both in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Elaine is survived by her brother, Fr. Lowell Greg Neuzil. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Chase; and her brothers, Norman and Nathan Neuzil.
A Visitation will be held at 9:00AM, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, a Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.
