Ella Abigail McFadden passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home.
She was born on December 14, 2011, to Michael Robert McFadden and Shelly Ann (Mills) McFadden in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ella had an enthusiasm for life, and loved being active and playing sports like basketball. Ella’s real passion was pottery, she even had her own wheel and kiln at home. She loved creating new pieces to display, to use, and to share.
Ella will be remembered by those who knew her best for how quick she was to smile, and her infectious laugh. She had a great sense of humor, a quick wit, and always kept her family and friends laughing. During the last two years, while fighting cancer, Ella demonstrated incredible courage, patience, and positivity in the face of an immense challenge.
She is survived by her parents, three brothers: Eli, Kyle, and Kevin McFadden, two sisters: Emily and Kaylee McFadden (Ella’s twin sister), and her grandparents, Robert and Teresa McFadden and Richard and Devie Mills.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8610 Scarborough Drive. The burial will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation or a memorial in Ella’s name, they are encouraged to do so to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, who granted Ella a trip to Paris, France, in August of 2025.
