Ethel M. Staudte
Ethel Staudte, 96, of Colorado Springs, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at a local care center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Ethel was born on September 25, 1916 in Oak Park, Illinois to the late Edwin and Anna (Cook) Asmus. She married Adolph Staudte on August 6, 1938 in Oak Park, Illinois.
Her greatest joy in life was being a homemaker and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons: Ralph (Martha) Staudte, Don (Karen) Staudte; four grandchildren: Scott (Carin) Staudte, Cheryl (Chris) Snyder, David (Robin) Staudte, Kazi (Leo) Houston; sister, Virginia Becker; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph; and a brother, Edwin.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers at the Medalion and Pikes Peak Hospice for their excellent, loving care.
