Everett Leroy Nance, age 80, passed away on April 20, 2021.  He was a resident of Colorado Springs and was a lineman for the Colorado Springs Electric Department.

Everett was born on October 8, 1940 to Henry Nance and Stella (Jackson) Nance in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  He was married to Linda J. Ellis in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Everett was an active racer in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and a member of the, “Over the Hill Gang”.  He also served in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years (Linda); his children:  Michele (Michael) Browning, Michael (Linda), Nance and Tim Eckert (Fiancé-Cathy); his sister: Dorothy Lewis; his grandchildren: Garrett (Diana) Browning Kylah (Cody) Wilson, Jayden Nance, Craig Baker, and Clint Baker.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Marie, Ward, Bob, Roy, and Orville.

A pavilion service with a flag presentation by High Frontier Honor Guard will be held privately.  Please contact family for further details.
