Frances Ann Dudley, also known as Frances Ann Versage, passed away on January 14, 2026. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for decades. She retired from Quantum Corporation as a systems auditor many years ago and has led a quiet life, with her most enjoyable moments being time spent with family and friends.
Known as Frankie, she was born on February 28, 1943, to Francis “Frank” Thomas Versage and Frances “Franny” Ann (Seaman) Versage in Englewood, New Jersey. She was the second eldest of five siblings and was preceded in death by her older sister, Jeannie (Sattler) Versage, and younger brother, Silas Versage. She is survived by her younger sister, Catherine “Cathy” (Price) Versage, and youngest sister, Martha “Marti” (Hatch) Versage, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Henry Dudley. She is survived by her twin daughters: Samantha “Sami” Montella and her husband, Brent, along with their children and families; and Danielle “Dani” Kuhlmann and her husband, Chris, along with their children and families. Her son, Darrell Jones Jr. preceded her in death in September of 2023, and is survived by his wife, Stephanie, along with their children and families. She leaves a beautiful legacy of 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who she loved to talk about and see. She was incredibly proud of each of her children and the families they raised.
Frankie loved to travel and spoke often of her memories traveling abroad. She was afforded the opportunity to live in Greece and Australia. She also visited Israel, Europe, and Mexico where she served alongside her friends on a missions trip. One of her greatest desires was to take her three children to Israel which she was unable to do.
Other great loves were her pets, and her last pet, Teddy, had her heart. He was her constant companion. She would have loved any financial support or volunteer support to be given to the National Mill Dog Rescue where she adopted Teddy. Alternatively, Indigo for Autism is a program her grandson, David, thrived in. She loved the growth and independence she saw develop in him. Support for these programs would have meant the world to her.
Frankie knew the Lord and had a beautiful personal relationship with Jesus. We, her family, have learned of many stories in which her faith made an impact. We will always be grateful to know the love so many had for her and most of all the love she had for Jesus.
