Frances Suriano, age 95, passed away February 2, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was a resident of Colorado Springs since 1967. She was an assistant paymaster in a Chicago hotel and a 28-year resident of Pikes Peak Towers.
Frances Droseiko was born April 28, 1917 in Racine, Wisconsin to Casimir and Estelle Droseiko. She married Michael Suriano on August 22, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Family has always been one of her top priorities. She enjoyed music and travel, and activities at Pikes Peak Towers.
Frances was survived by her son Richard (Lois) Suriano, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three grandchildren: Michael (Julia) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Jeffrey of Colorado Springs, and Richard B. (Susan) of Colorado Springs; and two great-grandchildren: Madison Melia, and Kyler Tiebout. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Michael.
A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at 10:00 am Friday, February 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2715 East Pikes Peak Avenue. A memorial service will also be held 3:00 pm Friday, February 8, 2013 at Pikes Peak Towers, 1912 Eastlake Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
