Frances Yvonne Newton
September 14, 1937 – January 28, 2016
Frances Yvonne Newton, 78 years old, passed away on January 28th, 2016. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 46 years. For many years prior to retirement, she was a branch manager for the ENT Federal Credit Union; then joined her husband in self-employment where they both enjoyed woodworking and selling their creations throughout Colorado and California.
Frances is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Donald Newton; her three children: Michael, Matthew and Melanie; her siblings: Tom, Joe, Billy and Julie Ann; her five grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin; her mother, Mary; and her sister, Judy.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Private urn placement to follow.
