Gabrielle (Gabby) Angel Gonzales, 27, passed away on June 12, 2017. She was a Colorado native and resided in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Gabrielle was born on April 4, 1990 to Nick and Patsy Gonzales in Colorado Springs. She was the baby girl of the family.
Gabby also known as “Angel Baby” loved classic lowrider cars, going to any events with her car club Superior C.C., spending time with her parents, her brothers, her friends, and all her nieces and nephews. She laughed at everything and anything through the good and the bad. She had that unforgettable smirk with her shy smile. She loved joking around with everyone to see their reaction but she was someone you couldn’t stay mad at. Gabby loved the Raiders, mainly because it gave her a reason to tease all the Denver Broncos’ fans in her family. She was loved by so many and touched many lives. This tragedy is nothing anyone could ever prepare for.
She is survived by her parents Nick and Patsy Gonzales; her siblings: Nick Gonzales Jr. (Angela), Patrick (Bernadette), and George (Dolores); her nieces and nephews: Brianna, Mariah, Patrick Jr., Emilio, Felipe, Karla, Jaliciana, Romo, and Carlos; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Edward and Mary Gonzales, Jim and Ernestine Archuleta, Uncle Robert Gonzales, Aunt Tina Gonzales, Uncle Michael Archuleta, Uncle Robert Archuleta and many more loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 and 1pm-2pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance. The funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a reception dinner following the funeral at Twister’s Restaurant, 2810 Fountain Blvd 80910.
The family has setup a memorial fund to help with funeral expenses at any TCF Bank under the “Gabby Gonzales Memorial Fund”. Flower donations are also being accepted and requested to be sent to the Shrine of Remembrance funeral home by Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 2pm.
