Gary E. Branson, age 70, started his tour in life on May 1, 1943 and was called home to be in peace on August 13, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, best friend, lover and soul mate of 22 years: Janet Branson.
He is also survived by his two sons: James (Danita) Branson and Patrick (Tamika) Branson; as well as three daughters: Kimberly Branson (Will Woodley), Jessica (James) Becker, Joanna (Tony) Brown, and his four-legged son, Tigger. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Anthony, Kayla, Shyanne, Onighya, Jamie, Trevor, TyShawn; and his four-legged grandchildren: Star and Mickey, and numerous adopted kids, grandkids, and two great-grandkids.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gary’s family in care of the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home.
