Gary Eugene Nelson
November 9, 1940 – February 19, 2012
Gary Nelson, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for forty years, a Veteran of the United States Army, and a Healthcare Administrator.
He leaves behind a loving wife of fifty years, Marlene Nelson; daughters: Candy DeYoung, Sherri Woodward, and Shelly Barrios; his mother Helen Nelson, age 93; brother Paul Nelson; sister Susie Dullard; his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
