Glenn V. Schultz, 90, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness. His family was by his side.

He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Kathryn A. (Kit) Abrams; son-in-law, Christopher M. Abrams; and his grand dog, Weasley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Stephani L.

Glenn was a veteran of World War II and after his service, graduated from the University of Iowa. He was an executive at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 30 years, spent time at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and most recently has been the owner and corporate accountant for Queen Liquor, Inc. for the past 33 years.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, especially about golf, and was passionate about family, philanthropy, and mentoring younger people with wisdom and experience through his interesting and meaningful stories. But most of all, he was a man of character, integrity, and kindness. He was a shining example of the “Greatest Generation” and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
