Helen Day, 76, of Colorado Springs passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 as a result of cancer. She is now home with our Father, the maker of all.
Helen was born June 23, 1935 in Las Anima.
Helen and Robert Day were married on October 12, 1952. They were together for 59 years, now they are together forever in heart.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Day; sons: Butch (wife, Kaye) Day, Will (Debby) Day; and daughter Diana (husband, David) Williams. She has 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many friends whom she loved with all heart.
Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
