  22. Being a dear friend of Nikki’s, I was so happy when she met Jake, and also happy I had the opportunity to meet him and visit Nikki and Jake at their home in Colorado, before they were married. From afar, I’ve shared their joys of marriage and the births of their dear sweet children, Piper, Ivy and Ryon. I witnessed what a great Uncle he was to his nephews, and how good he was with kids, during my visit, years ago now. I wish I had the right words to uplift everyone who was part of his life, his wife, his children, his relatives, his friends and everyone who knew him. Talk to him still, I know he’s there listening and wants you all to know, how much he loves every single one of you.
    With heartfelt love,
June Olson and family, Seattle, Washington

  26. Dear Jake, I witnessed your love for my sister and I witnessed you being a dad to Piper, Ivy and Ryon. I’ve witnessed true acts of love and selflessness. I’ve seen you in the quiet moments with Nikki and the kids. There’s no one else like you, Jake. You will forever live in our hearts. Rest easy and visit us often.

Love, Erika, Lance, Parker, Ty and Callie

  27. I am so so sorry to hear about Jake. I played softball with him for many years. He was a genuine person and one of the best teammates you could ask for. The softball community and the teams he played on have been blessed to have him. I know how much he loved his family. I remember we were in a tie game and extra innings and everyone was on the fence and barking orders and Jake was showing me pictures of his beautiful new baby girl (he was also batting 1.000 for the tournament). I haven’t played on a team with him in about 3 or 4 years, but I will never forget that moment. I am so sorry. Jake will never be forgotten.

  28. In deepest sympathies, we send our love, thoughts and prayers to the family and friends in this loss. May peace and many fond memories of Jake comfort all of you today and always.
    -Kayla and extended Ravenkamp Family
