James Franklin Pyle – October 31, 2025

James Franklin (known to all as Frank) Pyle, was taken from this earth unexpectedly on October 31, 2025.

Frank was predeceased in death by his mother, Tillie Wells, and his wife of thirty years, Julie Ann Pyle, who passed away on November 13, 2021.

He is survived by his fiancé, Janet Gerard; Son, Daniel and wife Ashley-Erickson Pyle; Daughter, Ashley Pyle; Brother, David Pyle and wife Mary Pyle; estranged twin sister, Sharon Carneyhan; nephews: Devin and Tailor his wife, Jacob and Destiny, fiancé, and Colton; grandchildren, Blaise, Kayden, Baylie, Jarek, Macen, and Nolan. He was also survived by his loving kitty, Mosi, who misses him every single day, as do his family and friends.

Family was an important part of Frank’s life, and he loved the many memories of times in Kentucky, but Colorado was his home, and he cherished his time here.

Frank never hesitated to offer his help whenever and to whoever needed it. He was most generous and kind, and always offered assistance, no matter what the project might entail.

He was an avid Broncos Fan and enjoyed playing golf, going to Mexico, and loved his kitty, Mosi.

There are no words to express how much he will be missed. He will always be in our hearts forever. He was taken from us too soon, but the memories will remain with us forever.

Frank was a really good guy. He may have grown up not having much but always made sure you had everything you needed when you were with him. He had an incredible work ethic. Long days, short nights. But he always showed up. You could count on him. When I called, I knew he could always give me the inside scoop on why our Broncos were stinking it up at the time. That conversation would then evolve into light-hearted joking about something that happened at the Home Depot, a funny story about catching something on fire by accident (this was the case for both of us), our aches and pains and getting old. But sometimes the topics would be serious. It was in those times that you realized he cared very deeply for his family and the struggles they went through. Rest in peace Frank.

Janet, I’m sorry. I know this is devastating. We are thinking of and praying for you everyday. The Pierson Family

My condolences to Frank’s family and friends. I’m truly sorry for your loss. There are many people who come and go in our lives. A few touches in ways that others don’t, “Frank”was one of them. Frank was one of my best friends for over 25 years we golfed and worked together. I’m forever going to cherish those memories.
He will be truly missed by many including myself
All my heart and prayers . 🙏🏼
    Philip Trejo and Family.

  5. Janet Gerard

Frank was my brother-in-law, one of my best friends along with his deceased wife, my sister. He had a good heart but was also crazy. We all have memories of Frank.

The best is the hose story when Frank was delivering food to a restaurant early in the morning. The worker was cleaning the floors, Frank said “I’m trying to deliver here, can you stop the hose”? The worker sprayed Frank with his hose. The rest of the story is not appropriate for the website.

Death is a part of life but I know he is in Heaven with Julie.

Just know how much I love you Frank.
