James Lee West was born on May 3, 1959, and passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 65.
He was a passionate sports fan, especially of the Lakers and the Raiders. James enjoyed a good beer and spending time fishing. James was known for his competitive spirit and charm with the ladies in his younger years.
He was a loving family man and is survived by his son Jamey and daughter-in-law Jill, his grandchildren Colby and Morgan, his brother Doug, his sisters Shari and Chris, along with many other loved ones. He cherished his many nieces and nephews.
James was known for his strong will and firm opinions. He stood his ground until the very end.
Upon passing, James was surely greeted with a big hug from his mom and so many other loved ones who went before him.
James will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held in his honor when we can spread his ashes later this summer. In place of flowers, donations can be made to his memorial fund. Venmo: @westjamey
