Jennifer Nichole Forshee age 45, passed away on September 23, 2019. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for eight years and was formerly a resident of Nashville, TN. She was a Child Care Provider at Forshee Inc.
Jennifer was born on February 14, 1974 to Pamela K. Forshee. She preferred to be called Jen.
Jen was fond of spending time with family and friends especially her nieces, nephews and her godchildren. She also enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in Nashville, TN and attended National American University in Colorado Springs, CO.
Jen is survived by her brother, Corey (Prescilla) Forshee; nieces and nephews, DeCorey, Amari, Coriana, Cameron, Corrie, and Corey Jr.; and her godchildren, Jamion (Quiana), Alrenzo and Alayah (Shia) and Azalea (Viviana). She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela K. Forshee; grandmother, Christine Carter; and her grandfather, James Roy Carter Sr.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Garden of the Gods at 12pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life ceremony at Hillsboro High School campus in Nashville, TN on October 3, 2019 at 6pm.
Jen was such a loving and caring soul. She was a genuine person that cared deeply for her family and friends. Through the pain and suffering she was living with; she would go out of her way to ensure everyone she encountered was having a great day and was smiling. Jen is loved and will be forever missed. Rest in the Arms of God.
