John Gleason, age 72, passed away April 20, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A resident of Colorado Springs since 1998 he served in the United States Air Force for 26 years as a Communications Cable and Antenna Systems Superintendent. He was stationed or TDY in Florida, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New York, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia, Guam and elsewhere. He later worked at a government contractor as a technical writer for more than 15 years after retiring from the Air Force.
John enjoyed photography, woodworking, pipe organ music, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Monument, Colorado.
