John Park Ball, 63, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on August 21, 2015 at a local hospital. John was born on November 30, 1951 to the late Jack and Grace (Current) Ball. John graduated from Palmer High School and attended Colorado State University.
After college, John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was discharged after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in which he battled for 36 years.
John is survived by his wonderful caregiver, Tony Duenas and family; two aunts: Maloa Read and Irma Hilfers and many, many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and his stepsister, Suzie K. Murthy.
Interment and graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery.
