Josephine Evelyn Ariaz aka Evelyn Josephine Ariaz was born on May 10, 1940 in Redwing, Colorado to Benito Marquez and Amalia (Vasquez) Ariaz. She passed away on August 13, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her loving family by her side. Josephine worked laundry services in the healthcare field. Her favorite scriptures were Proverbs 3:5-7 and John 3:16. A public visitation with social distancing will take place Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m at The Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery with her husband Heriberto Arias. Blessed be her memory.

21 Aug 2020So sad to hear of Josephine’s passing. We always enjoyed sitting behind her and her sister at Mass on Sundays. Truly a lovely lady. May your soul RIP with our Lord and savior Jesus. Prayers going out to family. God bless you all.
