Joshua Michael Vigil, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Josh was born on Monday, February 9, 1981 on Fort Carson base, Colorado to Robin Anderson.
He leaves behind his wife, Stefani Vigil; his children: Brittni Reed, Angelyna Reed, Anastacya Reed, and Kathryn Reed; his sisters: Rebekah McWilliams, and Amanda Alire; and countless friends and family. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, “Nana” Anna Creager; grandparents: Lake and Fern Anderson; and aunt, Holly Horsman.
Josh was a devoted father who had a one-of-a-kind soul. At a very early age, Josh developed a love for fishing and outdoors. He also had many other hobbies including watching football, cooking, taking road trips and spending time with family. Everyone who knew Josh knew him for his infectious smile and ambitious spirit.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.

I remember the day you born, my first nephew, how proud Auntie was and still is! You grew into a fine young man, son, sibling, husband , uncle, dad and friend! The loss is immeasurable!

I wish to offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family. I didn’t know Josh, but his daughter Angel works for me, and she is one of the sweetest, strongest, and hard working young women I’ve ever known. For her to be such a wonderful girl, I know Josh must have been an incredible father. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
