Joyce M. Cross
Joyce M. Cross, age 64, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1992, passed away on September 25, 2012 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and had retired after working at Sam’s Club for many years.
Joyce Marie Kessel was born on January 2, 1948 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Joyce loved cooking and had a large cookbook collection. She also enjoyed photo albums, playing bingo, and playing on the computer. She will be best remembered for her smile and her love for her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David C. Cross of Colorado Springs; and her children: Maurice (wife, Luba) Dean III of Los Angeles, California; and Ronnie (wife, Cristy) Lambert of Colorado Springs. She has six wonderful grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Michelle Reed-Donald in April of 2012.
A private service is being planned for family and friends. She will be cremated.
