Juanito P. Farinas, age 79, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1994 and formerly of Lemon Grove, California passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Memorial Hospital.
Juanito Ponce Farinas was born on March 24, 1932 to the late Felix and Rosario (Ponce) Farinas.
He is survived by his wife: Faustina; and his seven children. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He will be best remembered for his wonderful smile, his sincerity and generosity.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the Chapel. A reception will follow at his daughter, Lyn’s home. Cremation is planned and burial will take place in San Antonio, The Philippines.
