Judy L. Watson, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1976, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born August 20, 1942 in Bremerton, Washington to Charles Cowan and Edna (Jensen) Cowan.
She was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church and Rock of Ages Ladies Guild. She enjoyed collectibles and romance novels.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Watson; her sons: Karl (Patricia) Watson and Edward Watson; her mother, Edna Cowan; her siblings: Janet Cowan, Mike (Lois) Cowan, Joan (David) Lee, Linda (George) Eliopulos, Eric (Barb) Cowan; five grandchildren: Audrea, Adam, Derek, Alyssa, Kari.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 120 North 31st Street. A reception will follow the services at the church. Entombment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven. Memorials may be made to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church.
